We are a diverse group of Kitsap County citizens opposed to the proposed project, set forth by Raydient Property Development, to rezone their Bond road/Stottlemeyer property. This would allow a small portion (possibly 20 acres ) of the 400 acres to be used for a sports multiplex: YMCA, sports fields, parking lots, restaurant and remaining 380 or so for a housing development. (Parties involved with the marketing and planning of this project claim up to 200 acres could be set aside for public use, but offer no ability to confirm or prove those claims)

Public transit along Bond Road is almost nonexistent.
Currently, access to the proposed Bond Road Rezone area is not possible by public transit.
The proposed high density development would be located on a critical aquifer recharge area, putting our local drinking water resources at risk.
Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe opposes the Rezone on Bond Road.
The Suquamish Tribe opposes the rezoning of rural protection or urban restricted parcels to more intensive uses.
The Quiet enjoyment of off-road, rural areas in Kitsap County is a major attraction to residents and visitors alike. Many residents have moved to these areas to achieve a QUIETER, RURAL way of life.
The rezoning proposal would displace the numerous animal populations currently living throughout the site's undeveloped timberland.
